4 days / Horse trekking through Huerquehue National Park / Price 950.000 CLP for bookings until 01.12.2025 then 1.050.000 per Person
Multi-day trip in the Nationalpark Huerquehue. This ride takes us on a fascinating journey into ancient forests, natural hotsprings and river crossings.
Day 1
Day on the farm
After a hearty breakfast, we go on a 3-hour ride in the area. This short tour introduces the usual Chilean riding style (similar to western riding) and enables horse and rider to get to know each other before heading into challenging terrain for the next few days. Overnight in a cozy wooden hut.
Day 2 (6 hours)
Rio Blanco
Departure for the Huife valley. An adventurous day is ahead. Steep ascent in the cold Valdivian rainforest. Descent to small natural hot springs in the Huerquehue National Park. We spent the night in a tent right next to the thermal baths.
Day 3 (6 hours)
Caburgua Lake
This day offers a lot of variety. The path leads now and then along the Rio Blanco river. Constantly changing vegetation awaits us up to the campsite on the lonely lakeshore of Lake Caburgua. Cooking takes place over the campfire.
Day 4 (5–6 hours)
Back to the Ranch
On the last day, our horses can once again show their mountain skills. From time to time we are rewarded with a great view of the huge lake and the active volcano Villarrica. Farewell dinner on the farm.
